Fade to black…THE END!
This is it everyone, it is 6 hours since we went on stage for the final time and boy did we do an amazing job. Talk about full house, people having to sit on the floor, on the steps and they tried to get us to have 1 performance?!
I am so proud of you, all of you, from the moment My Pallas opened her mouth and said the poem to the final “NO” that the entire cast screams at the very end, you guys had the audience captivated. I cannot thank you enough, I have told you all how wonderful you are and how fantastic I thought it was again and again, but I will tell you once more, because you all deserve it. Honestly, from the bottom of my heart, I would like to say this has truly been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. You were all divine tonight, we swept people off their feet, had the audience in tears and fits of laughter. I am the luckiest director in the world to have the cast and crew that I did, you were all amazing, Yvette and Zara, the pair of you are absolute angels and I could NOT have done it without you both!
To My Minna, fantastic effort, you were hilarious and I will never forget the times I shared during this project with you, laughing and being in your company.
My Arianna, you are one of the bravest people I have ever met, and I admire your strength of character and courage, I look up to you for them. You truly have been astounding.
My Sammi, congratulions on a truly moving performance, I think you were very beautiful out there tonight and you should be so proud of what you have achieved.
My Charles, honestly, you made me cry, you were moving, heart warming and a wonderful performer and portrayed sadness so beautifully, and you made everyone proud, as well as making everyone cry.
My Pallas, how do I even begin to thank you, you beautiful, wonderful, magnificent girl…I will always be grateful to what you brought to my lead, your passion and enthusiasm are unforgettable. Well done, my heart is swelling with pride.
To all of you, we did it, we have reached the end, I am proud of each and every one of you, it has been the most pleasurable of pleasures and I will never forget these past 14 weeks…EVER!! I love you all, you are all flowers. Thank you for making my vision a reality, we have reached the end, the end of an amazing process and journey. I’m signing off from the blog, logging out of my account, the project is done, and we went out with a BANG! I know the 6 of us will have more adventures together…but for now, I will leave you with this; you have all made up pieces of my heart, each and every one of you is a section, a clipping from my soul, you will never know how much you all mean to me. Thank you for the happiness I am feeling right now…I love you all very much…

CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE!!
We did it guys…1 show down 1 to go…You should all be SO proud of yourselves, I know I am! From the laughs My Minna made the audience erupt into, to the “aawwsss” My Charles pulled from their lips, to the dark power My Arianna had over them, to the tears my Sammi drew from their eyes, to the sheer brilliance, recognised by each and every one of them that was My Pallas.
I am so proud of you all, and I am so grateful, to those who have helped us along the way, teacher, parents, friends-without you all it wouldn’t have happened. And to me cast? I love you all, thankyou so making my vision come alive and thankyou for being the kind, wonderful, special people that you are…I am eternally grateful for your passion, it truly does mean the world…I will see you all tomorrow, for the 2nd run, well sone again guys…

Anonymous asked: You can cast any actor now alive to play you in a film about your life. Whom would you cast in the role?
Abigail Breslin, because she is funny and cute in that “I’m not going to try to hard” kind of way, and she kind of looks a bit like me and, I think I would like her way of portraying me, as well as the fact that she has peacock feather eyes…

Nell:
Hi followers and everyone who is not a follower who reads my blog (coughClaudiacough)
i need to tell you about two of the most amazing people on Earth.
their names are Meg and Ruby.
i don’t even have words to describe how much those two people have done for me. but thruthfully, they are not exactly what this post is about.
this post is about their PLAY. yes. their PLAY, people.
Ruby = writer, director and general decider of everything.
Meg = lead actress.
the play is called Serpents. it has it’s own blog (http://serpentsplay.tumblr.com). it opens this Thursday at six thirty and is on again on Friday at the same time. It doesn’t cost, except a gold coin donation at the door. it is on in the Drama Studio at Saint Michael’s Grammar School, 25 Chapel Street, Saint Kilda. the Drama Studio is across the road from school, behind the Choir Hall.
If you live in Melbourne, please understand that you need to see this play. it is so much more than just your average school production (not that most school productions are everage but you get what i mean). this play is full of heart and soul, it is such a huge statement on life, it is performed by 5 of the most talented beings in our middle school, and was written by certainly one of the most talented writers.
go and see this play PLEASE. you will not regret it. it doesnt matter who you are, or the fact that you may have nothing to do with the school whatsoever. that does not matter.
honestly, it will be one of the best peices of theatre you will see in your life.

The Final Stretch…
This is it everyone, we have made it almost to the end, it’s been a full-on journey, we have all had a great time (I think), we have become closer as a group and slick as a team than I could have hoped for. We have moved from auditions to first read-through’s, to blocking, to pulling it off script, to really turning it into a play, to creating costumes and sets with the help of Zara and Grace, and now we are here…PRODUCTION WEEK! Get Excited everyone, because that adrenaline inspired feeling you get when you are about to go onstage is almost upon us, and personally I’m pumped! We do have a lot of work to do, from finalising techie stuff to making sure we have practically a full house both nights! It’s going to be a big week, for everyone involved, including myself and the cast. Yvette and the lights/sound team are going to be flat out and even parents, guardians and supervisors should get ready for the emotional yet exciting journey ahead of us.
We’re here everyone, we’ve made it, this is it…”the final stretch”
